There’s no shortage of fans rooting for a romance between Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce — and sportscaster Erin Andrews is one of them.
Andrews joined Savannah Guthrie and Hoda Kotb on Today on Tuesday morning to talk about having her son with the help of a surrogate after a heartbreaking nine-year journey with infertility, including being diagnosed with cervical cancer, and how she’s balancing a demanding career and motherhood.
Kotb turned the conversation to “the other wonderful headline in your life” and asked Andrews about how she may have helped “give birth” to the Swift-Kelce romance.

“I’m the new Bumble,” Andrews joked before they rolled a clip from an Aug. 3 episode of her podcast Calm Down With Erin and Charissa, which she hosts with fellow Fox Sports host Charissa Thompson. She addressed Swift, telling her if she’s looking for a guy, “please try our friend Travis. He’s fantastic!”
Andrews recapped the story of how Kelce talked on his own podcast, which he co-hosts with brother and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, about going to an Eras Tour performance and making Swift a bracelet with his phone number on it, but not having the chance to give it to her.
Andrews hasn’t been keeping close tabs on the situation, but did say she’ll bug him for information soon. “He has a glow to him,” she said, before clarifying that Kelce didn’t ask her for the assist.
After Swift showed up to the Sept. 24 Chiefs game and set the internet ablaze, Andrews and Thompson reshared that episode of their podcast on Instagram. Kelce — whose handle Killatrav has Swifties thinking the relationship is fated because of her song “… Ready for It?” which starts with the lyric “knew he was a killer first time that I saw him” — commented “I owe you big time,” Andrews recalled, and then she sent Swift a Chiefs jacket from her line WEAR, which the superstar wore to the Oct. 12 game. (It sold out, but they’ve restocked.)
