How to Watch the NHL All-Star Game 2024 Without Cable
Since the NHL All-Star Game broadcasts on ABC, it means it’s also streaming on internet-based alternative cable services, like DirecTV Stream, Fubo, Hulu + Live TV and others. In fact, some services even offer free trials, so if you act fast and sign up now, you could actually watch the outdoor hockey game for free.
Here’s how you can watch the NHL All-Star Game without cable below:
ESPN+
If you’d like to live stream the entire NHL All-Star Weekend, then ESPN+ is the best pick. The streaming service has the main event on Saturday, while it also streams other events from the weekend. Packages start at $10.99 per month.
Along with ESPN+, the Disney Bundle Trio comes with the ad-supported versions of Hulu and Disney+ for $14.99 per month. This is nearly 45 percent less than if you were to subscribe to each service individually. However, if you’d like to go ad-free, the Disney Bundle Trio goes for $24.99 per month.
DirecTV Stream
Watch ABC with DirecTV Stream. The cable alternative’s packages also offer ESPN for events during NHL All-Star Weekend, along with more than 75 other channels — such as NBC, Fox, CBS, AMC, Bravo, CNBC, Disney Channel and much more.
The streamer has a free five-day trial available, but that’s more than enough time to watch the entire NHL All-Star Weekend on ABC and ESPN. Afterward, you can either cancel the service or keep watching, with prices starting as low as $69.99 for the entry-level entertainment package. Other plans offer more than 105-150 channels, with prices ranging from $84.99 to $159.99 per month.
For a limited time, new subscribers can get a Visa gift card worth up to $200; learn more here.
Fubo
If you’d like to watch the entire NHL All-Star Weekend live on ABC and ESPN — along with more than 170 other news, entertainment and sports channels — go with a subscription to Fubo. The streaming service starts at $79.99 per month, while you can record over 1,000 hours of TV shows, movies, games and more. Fubo is available to watch on your smartphone, tablet or TV too.
Additionally, other plans include the Elite package (with more than 250 channels for $89.99 per month) and the Premier tier that comes with nearly 300 channels, NFL RedZone, Showtime and 4K quality for $99.99 per month.
If you want to watch the NHL All-Star Game live for free, the online TV streaming service offers a five-day free trial for new subscribers.
Hulu + Live TV
To watch ABC and ESPN, a subscription to Hulu + Live TV is another fantastic option. The streaming service has access to more than 90 live channels — like BET, CNN, Food Network and more — starting at $76.99 per month and comes with Hulu’s entire streaming library, as well as Disney+ and ESPN+.
In addition to live TV, Hulu + Live TV lets subscribers watch originals from Hulu, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm (Star Wars), The Muppets Studio and Pixar Animation, as well as ESPN+ for original sports programming and live sports from Formula 1, UFC, NHL and other sports leagues. It includes unlimited cloud DVR, too. Unfortunately, Hulu doesn’t offer a free trial at this time.
Sling
Sling is one of the cheapest options for new live TV streaming subscribers who want to watch the NHL All-Star Weekend on ABC and ESPN. The Sling Orange + Blue plan is only $30 per month for the first month ($60 per month afterwards) and includes both networks.
Sling Orange + Blue also features The Disney Channel, Freeform, TBS, Bravo, MSNBC and much more.
